Project: BASCD website and Office of National Statistics - The 2003 Dental Health Survey.

When the trial finished, we went on to develop a closed site for Boots' pharmacists. This community based site is now the online focal point for our pharmacists. "We were aware of the need to update some of our existing training materials and so took the opportunity to work with Smile-on and venture into the world of e-learning. The NPA hadn't developed anything similar previously, but Smile-on guided us helpfully and fairly smoothly through the process of developing two courses. We felt that many of our members were unlikely to have soundcards yet, so we relied on Smile-on to bring the material to life silently. We now have two three-hour courses that we offer to our members. The Drug Tariff and Law & Ethics in Pharmacy practices - both of which have been helpfully funded through sponsorship by Pfizer. We were so impressed with Smile-on that we've now teamed up to jointly produce a product for NVQ Assessors to the A1 Standards."
