Noam Tamir - CEO
Noam has extensive experience in computer services, management and marketing as applied to different market niches. He is also the founder of Isys Plc, the successful London-based consultancy and IT service provider and, for the last 13 years, has been its Managing Director. Noam is a member of the Worshipful Company of IT and, over the last few years, he has been a contributing member of the IT Training & Education Panel. His first management skills were acquired in Officers School, where he achieved top honours. He was the youngest officer at the 'Entebbe Raid'. Noam graduated in Computing and Industrial Management Engineering at the Technion in Haifa, Israel. |

Mash Seriki - Commercial Director
Mash began his career as a trainee journalist before moving to Video Arts where he became Sales and Distribution Director and was part of the senior management team at the time of its flotation. He then moved to Spring Group as the commercial director for one of the subsidiaries prior to being appointed as Group Marketing and Communications Director. In this later role he was responsible for launching the highly successful spring.com which was a re-engineered the largest unit for the internet world.
Mash has acted as entrepreneur for a number of businesses including setting up Tests.com and acquiring and turning round Creation Station. |

Patrick Cannon - Chief Operations Officer
Patrick oversees the day-to-day running of the company, managing staff, technology and all projects within Smile-on. He has been involved in Distance Learning and computer-based training for over 10 years and began working in multimedia development in 1992.
He started his career in IT as a Computer-Based-Training Programmer and moved into Multimedia Training as an Instructor in the use of Authoring software. He has travelled all over the UK and Europe, training companies in the use and development of Multimedia Training Applications and software. He has managed many large projects for clients such as The Royal Navy, BAE Systems, ICL, Baltimore Technologies and BUPA. Since he began working for Smile-on, he has managed large projects for Boots Plc, the Eastman/UCL, the BDHF, PracticeWorks, and the National Pharmacy Association. |

John M G Hunt OBE F.F.G.D.P(UK) BDS, LDS - Director
John brings a wealth of experience and expertise in dental affairs to smile-on. During his time as Chief Executive of the British Dental Association for nearly eight years, membership and services of the BDA increased significantly, as did the BDA's reputation at home and overseas.
John has had a varied career within dentistry, following qualification from Guy's Hospital in the 1960s. He's worked as a resident dental house officer and taught at what is now The Royal London before joining a large family practice for 11 years. Afterwards, he worked in Hong Kong at the Prince Philip Dental Hospital, then moved back to the UK to work with the Department of Health. With all that experience, he then took up the challenging role at the British Dental Association in 1993. He retired from that post in 2000 and joined Smile-on in a part-time capacity.
He is currently the Speaker and Council Member of the FDI World Dental Federation and the Chairman-elect of the OSAP (Organisation for Safety and Asepsis Procedures) Foundation in the United States. He is also a member of the General Dental Council’s Appointments Committee. As well as obtaining an OBE for services to the profession he was also elected an honorary member of the American Dental Association in recognition of his international activities. |

Noah Freedman - Advisor and Member of the Smile-on Board of Directors
Noah has worked in technology businesses for over 25 years. He was in charge of advanced technology and market analysis for the WestLB Panmure Technology Group. Following 15 years managing R&D projects in industry, Noah spent six years with the Communications and Electronic Systems Practice of PA Consulting Group, ultimately becoming a partner. He is frequently quoted as an Internet expert and commentator on the emerging Internet economy in Europe. He is also an expert in emerging mobile data communications technologies. Noah's role within smile-on is as an intellectual thought leader and head of research. This role also involves managing our relationships with industry and academic centres of excellence. |

Simon Brodie - Company Director
Simon is founder and Chairman of Handbag.com, the leading on-line women's magazine in the UK. Formerly Director of E-business for Boots Plc he now works as an advisor for a number of early stage companies. His extensive experience in healthcare, technology and international commerce are a valuable asset to the Smile-on board. |

Raj Rattan BDS (Lond.) MFGDP (UK) Dip.MDE
Raj Rattan is a general dental practitioner with practices in London and Oxford. He has a long-standing commitment to dental vocational training and is a lead advisor in vocational training in the London Deanery. Raj is a dento-legal advisor with Dental Protection Ltd and a Primary Care Trust dental advisor. He was also a regional advisor for BUPA DentalCover. He has lectured extensively on a wide range of subjects related to general practice both in the UK and overseas.
He is the author of over 250 articles and has published books on practice management and vocational training in general dental practice. He has written the book Clinical Governance in General Dental Practice. Raj is an editorial board member of The Dentist magazine and is the general practice editor and co-author of a number of books currently in preparation with Quintessence Publishing. He joins the smile-on team as founder of first-practice.com with managerial responsibility for its continuing development. |
