New regulations from the General Dental Council require dentists to complete 15-hours of verifiable learning annually - this may expand to include other dental professionals too. We have a range of courses that will help you to meet the GDC's requirements while making training fun and rewarding rather than a logistical hassle. You can view our courses at your leisure repeatedly until the expiry date.

		New Release Communication in Dentistry Smile-on, in partnership with Dental Protection Ltd, has developed a three module programme to educate all team members in implementing successful communication techniques in the practice. A humorous twist to a developing storyline will keep you engaged as you work through the programme to make your education more entertaining. The modules being developed are: Module 1: Essentials of Commuication Module 2: Communication with Patients Module 3: Communication within Teams The first module takes a wider look at communication while modules two and three hone in on issues specifically relating to patient and team communication. With today’s society being more informed and more empowered, the need to overcome communication challenges is essential. Many within healthcare compartmentalise communication in to specific tasks (e.g. gaining consent, providing instruction) and therefore limit the breadth of information being sent or received. This is the very antithesis of good communication.
