With today’s society being more informed and more empowered, the need to overcome communication challenges is essential. Many within healthcare compartmentalise communication in to specific tasks (e.g. gaining consent, providing instruction) and therefore limit the breadth of information being sent or received. This is the very antithesis of good communication.
